Pattern Imprinted Concrete Restoration
Pattern Imprinted concrete or pressed concrete has been around for over 20 years now and is still as popular today as when first introduced in the UK.
Many homes and businesses throughout Tyne and Wear also County Durham have there driveways, patios and pathways constructed of this extremely hard wearing and attractive surface. As hard wearing as concrete is the colour will soon start to wear with white patches and even flaking and peeling of the colour occurring after the hard winters we have recently experienced.
Many home owners are not aware of the treatments that Tyneside Pressure Cleaning can undertake to fully restore the colour and visual appeal to your imprinted concrete driveway.
We can carry out colour matched repairs to cracked and broken cappings that occur on some of the patterns that have been laid, we can also colour match and fill settlement cracks and sometimes larger cracks that have become visible.
After a full clean, with any oil staining pre-treated, we will allow a suitable drying time before we undertake any repairs and sealant application. Some homes do not require a colour to be added to the sealant, this will be discussed at our initial FREE quotation visit. However some areas that have been subjected to overdue maintenance and regular traffic use will require the colour additives which we gradually add in measured quantities to fully refurbish the surface.
We will also add an anti slip compound to the final application to help alleviate the slippery nature of some surfaces.
You can be fully assured that we work to the highest standards at all times using the best quality products available to fully refurbish your pattern imprinted concrete driveway, patio or pathways.
