For customers electing to have the sealant application we will ensure the kiln dried sand and any residual mud and muck is removed to a greater depth than a clean only service. After allowing a longer drying time, 3-5 days, we will apply kiln dried sand to the entire area ensuring all evidence is removed from the surface before applying the first of two applications of Smartseals top quality sealant that will secure the sand between the blocks, inhibit weed growth and make overall maintenance that much easier.
